Our Maritime Legacy Since 2005
Coastal Inflatable Boats is built on a strong tradition of boating, craftsmanship, and community. What began in 2005 as a small family operation has grown into one of New England’s most trusted names in inflatable boats. Over the years, we have expanded into larger locations, exhibited at the New England Boat Show, and continually improved our models based on customer feedback.

In 2018, Coastal Inflatable Boats and New England Ski Boat came together as one company, creating a stronger alliance with shared values of quality, affordability, and exceptional service. Together, we bring decades of experience selling, servicing, and building boats since 2003.
Founder’s Legacy and Expertise
Our founder, James Lyman, carries on a family legacy of boatmaking and maritime activities that stretches back to the age of sail. A lifelong boating enthusiast, water skier, and scuba diver, James has combined passion with hands-on expertise to guide the company’s growth and innovation.
Serving the New England Boaters
Today, Coastal Inflatable Boats proudly serves customers from our main location at 445 Concord Avenue, Cambridge, MA, with an additional pick-up location in Seabrook, NH, for the convenience of our out-of-state boaters. Our mission remains the same as it was from the beginning: treat every customer as we would want to be treated, and deliver boats that balance quality with value.
